Tulips!

I happen to LOVE tulips. They are my 2nd favorite flower, first being lilacs. Last fall, mom came over and helped me plant 270 tulips and then I planted 90 more myself to total 360 bulbs planted. I have really enjoyed watching them come up, bud, bloom. The tulips have probably been blooming for 3 weeks or so and last night I counted 47 more buds! I am really excited that there will be more tulips. I am already planning to plant more - just where? :)

Another trip to Bend

The weekend after Grandpa and Grandma came to visit, we headed to Bend again - because Jon and Tamara were coming to Bend. It was their first time back to Bend since their move to Boise. Their schedule was very tight, but we are happy that they had a little time to share with family.

Grandpa and Grandma Jensen visit

Grandpa and Grandma Jensen came into Portland to visit a nursery and then came to see us! They came to our house and then we went out for Mexican food. We had good food, great visits and a wonderful time. I feel so lucky that my grandparents are still living and I appreciate them so much. We only took one picture but know that memories last a lifetime and we wont forget their visit anytime soon!

Trip to Seattle

The weekend after we went to Bend we went to Seattle to visit Uncle Jerry and Rick and Julia too. We had a great time there. Rick, Julia, Dennis and I went to the Bodies Exhibit in Seattle and had a great time. Then we went on a marathon shopping trip with Julia where she got some loot! We celebrated Julia's birthday with 5 couples total. Great time had by all! Here are some pictures of our weekend.
