Trip to Bend

We went to Bend to visit Mom and Dad Smith the weekend we got home from our anniversary trip. We all had a very nice time, relaxed, sat in the sun, played games and drank yummy coffee. Here are a few pictures of our fun times! :)

Spring is here!

I think that spring is finally here... rain, sun, rain, sun... etc almost every day. Although, today was a gorgeous day, with sunshine all day long and temperatures reaching 70 degrees! Wow! We were lucky to have Rick and Julia with us. Today was the first day this year that we've eaten outside and it was lovely! I did take some pictures that hopefully when I get loaded off my camera onto the computer they will show up! Last night, Dennis and I went to Cirque du soleil. It was the first time for either of us. It was amazing and I think that every person should go at least once, but remember to take ear plugs! It gets noisy sometimes in there. There were tightrope walkers, contortionists, balancing acts, hoola hoop lady (she had 6), this awesome wheel thing where there were 2 huge wheels and 1 guy was on each wheel running on it... bascially, you'll just have to see it! We weren't allowed to take any pictures, unfortunately so we can't show what it was like. This week, Lloyd and Jenny are coming to visit and we are hoping to have the workers next week. We love to have company, so come when ever you can and stay for as long as you can! Have a great week!

It has been a long time since I have added anything to our blog. I think that I forgot about it and figured that updating Facebook was enough - however I am starting to get a bit weary of Facebook so will try this blogging again. I have a lot of things to update so might start with some pictures when I have some time at home. In December of 2009 we went to Montana to visit Benjamin's and had a great time. In February of 2010 we went to Arizona for our 3rd wedding anniversary. We saw stayed in the Grand Canyon National Park and also in Scottsdale. We had a wonderful time. Since then, we had a weekend with my parents in Bend, a weekend with uncle Jerry and Rick & Julia in Seattle, another weekend at my parents with Jon & Tamara, Grandpa and Grandma Jensen came to see us and mom & dad Smith. I'll try to post pictures of all of the above mentioned activities. This weekend, we're going to go to Cirque du soleil and are looking forward to that. Also, Rick & Julia will spend a night with us this weekend which will be wonderful. I will let this be all for now - and hopefully I will be more diligent in updating our blog!

Trip to Arizona

February of this year, Dennis and I went to Arizona for our 3rd wedding annviersary. It is hard to believe that we've been married for 3 years already! This trip was a complete surprise to Dennis up until the week before, then I slipped and told where we were going. We flew into Phoenix, drove to the Grand Canyon had 2 nights there, then 6 nights in Scottsdale. We had a helicopter ride, did lots of relaxing, lots of eating, and had a great time. We're already thinking about our next vacation.

Trying this out

This blogging thing is new to me so I am going to give it a try. I enjoy looking at my friends blogs so thought that I could start one as well. Hopefully sometime soon I will be able to add pictures onto here too and updates of our happenings!
